Pic2Go for BMBM
The excitement of running in an event is not ended when it’s finished. You are impatient to wait for official timing from event website to know your overall rank or in specific category. You are also impatient to find your race photo.
Gue sih gitu… hehe…
In every race, not only aimed to break my own personal record, tapi gue juga selalu bikin target untuk masuk 20% of top runner. Nggak muluk-muluk deh masuk 10% Top Runner, cukup di 20% aja. Makanya gue selalu ngasih high appreciation pada race organizer yang update official timingnya cepat [no more than 3 days!!!!!!], dan gak cuma ngasih tau gun time vs. chip time gue, tapi juga ranking gue!
In every race, juga sangat menyenangkan jika gue bisa dapat running photo gue yang diambil official photographer. Di luar negeri, most of running photo bayar… in few days setelah event, suka dapat email dari official photographer, nawarin beli foot-foto gue.
Di Indonesia, gue yakin, nggak bakalan ada yang mau beli. Ya kan?
Jadi either nyuruh temen stand by di garis finish [hihi] buat fotoin gue, atau berserah pada official photographer yang disediakan oleh race organizer. It’s very common for race organizer providing photographer, biasanya tinggal lihat di course map, mereka stand by di mana aja….
The thing about free running photo is…..
- Upload di website suka lama….
- Foto-fotonya dikit….. dan lo heran, karena perasaan waktu lari banyak yang motret. In some case, malah gak ada sama sekali.
- Foto-fotonya banyaaaaaakkkk banget, dan lo harus buka satu-satu untuk nyari foto lo. One of reason kenapa gue lebih suka pake t-shirt lari gue sendiri ketimbang pake t-shirt event, biar gampang nyari foto gue!
Tapi nyari foto yang banyak gitu, suka bikin gak sabar! Takut kelewatan, jadi harus pelan-pelan nyarinya. Ribetnya kalau koneksi internet lambat.
Tapi kayaknya nggak perlu khawatir lagi, welcoming Pic2Go.

Cara kerjanya sih gampang:
- Barcodes Pic2Go dicetak di race BIB – makanya kalau bisa pasang BIB di data, biar barcodesnya nggak ketutupan.
- Runner register BIB number ke Pic2Go, trus connect ke personal facebook yang otomatis langsung bikin folder “Pic2Go event” di facebooknya.
- Fotografer ngambil foto runner, dan upload ke Pic2Go system
- Sistem akan otomatis mengenali barcode Pic2Go di BIB
- Foto langsung ter-upload di folder Pic2Go di masing-masing Facebook runner.
- …. and voila: enjoy your pic!
Menyenangkan, kan? Nggak repot, gak ribet……… kecuali kalau, lo sama sekali nggak kena jepret!
